Are blacks and Africans a cursed race?
No.

No.

How was that lie promulgated?
By the Roman Catholic Church under Pope Nicholas V.

According to Wikipedia's entry about the History of Slavery,

"In 1452, Pope Nicholas V issued the papal bull Dum Diversas, granting Afonso V of Portugal the right to reduce any "Saracens, pagans and any other unbelievers" to hereditary slavery. This approval of slavery was reaffirmed and extended in his Romanus Pontifex bull of 1455. These papal bulls came to serve as a justification for the subsequent era of slave trade and European colonialism...

The maritime town of Lagos, Portugal, has the dubious distinction of being the location of the first slave market created by Europeans for the sale of imported African slaves - the Mercado de Escravos, opened in 1444, whose site is still pointed out to visitors to the town. "

Someone has said, "The truth always outlives a lie." I say that a lie is always more destructive than the truth. I am thankful for the brave men and women of every color who were willing to risk life and limb to live out their convictions.

I believe God created the different skin tones, eye color and hair texture because He saw that it was "Good." Every since Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden, the devil has exploited our differences and actively waged racial, ethnic and class wars.

Race still continues to separate believers in even the most diverse churches in America.
This is often played out in what types of roles whites vs. non-whites play in the church. Consciously or otherwise, most administrative and leadership positions are usually carved out for whites who may or may not be seminary-qualified for the roles. Whereas blacks and minorities are encouraged to work in the Praise and Worship Ministry. After all, they have "the gift of praise."

This is a load of tripe. To many whites, the notion of sitting under the leadership of qualified black pastors is unthinkable. So out of fear, they lock down the "power" positions within the church.

While living in Charlotte, there was a wonderful pastor of a church that was dubbed the oldest Pentecostal church in the city. If you'd walk into the main corridor, you would see a wall of photos of the men who pastored the church from the early 1900s to today. This man took over as pastor in 1968. In 1978, the first black family joined the church.

In the 1980s, the church's black population grew to 20%. Black and white kids started attending children's church together. As a result, they became good friends and started interracial dating. The first adult, interracial couple went to the pastor to ask him to marry them. The pastor flatly refused. He had been taught that the intermarriage of the races was a sin. The couple was shocked at the pastor's rationale, but yet they were undeterred in their quest to get married. They did marry and kept attending the church.

In the 1990s, the black and Hispanic population exploded. The racial make-up of the congregation became 60% minority/interracial and 40% white-only couple. The pastor refused to integrate his leadership team in a meaningful way. As a result, several church splits occurred.

Dr. T. D. Jakes said on one occasion:

"Your church is not fully integrated if your leadership is not."

Meanwhile, members of the diverse congregations rarely ever interact outside the church unless someone is trying to get you to joining the latest get-rich-scheme. So then, the person who invited you to join is only as loyal to you as you are to their project at the time. Once you have outlived your usefulness, the communication ties are quickly severed.

The races sometimes even offer up a half-hearted attempt to interact with each other by saying, "We really should get together." Phone numbers are exchanged but rarely, if ever, called. Yet, in chance meetings, we see members of the same race from the same church at dinner or play together. This simply should not be the case.

Where does the blame lie?
With satan and with all of us. Some Whites seem genuinely disinterested in engaging with other races if there is no perceived benefit to their cause. Blacks and other minorities are equally guilty being "invisible" by not seeking often too accommodating and won't raise the uncomfortable questions about racial inequalities in their church. They fear that if they were to do so, the leadership would consider it a personal affront and often use a bully pulpit to accuse these members as being used by satan.

Week after week, it is easier for us diverse members to give a polite, disconnected smile and offer a tepid handshake than it is for us to actively engage each other as Christ sees us - as one BIG family. The human tendency of us all is to quickly return back to our own selfish worlds. The problem is that we miss out on the great opportunities to know our brothers and sisters with whom we will inherit the Kingdom of God. This is one work of the flesh that we must actively

Pastors, white and black, must champion racial reconciliation and bridge building in the local churches. I know not everyone in the church will be happy with the pastor's decision to do so. If the world without God can't see a working model of how diversity works for everyone in the local church, they never will. We must pray, come against the spirit of racism which sows fear and distrust among believers of multicultural churches.

Pastors, staff and church members alike: Racial Reconciliation and Bridge Building takes courage. It must be a deliberate, ongoing activity that we must all undertake. We must learn to deal with our own issues of prejudices, our racial trespasses and those who have racially trespassed against us. We need to be healed.

Stewart, a true gentleman from the South and a really good friend of my family through the years, said that racism was the second thing that the Lord dealt with him after his conversion to Christianity. Up until this time, he had been a product of his environment and just accepted racism as the norm. He said that he told God, "I want to love everybody and not just other whites." Through the years, he told me how the Holy Spirit has graciously dealt with his heart in this area. Stewart told me that he actively reconditions himself to draw conclusions of whether a person's goodness on a case-by-case basis and not to judge an entire race on the actions of one.

Stewart and his wife Elaine still endure the loss of their 19-year old son Matthew. I got to know Matthew while he was still in high school when our families worshiped together at church on different occasions. My three-year old daughter at the time, would run straight into Matthew's arms the moment that she saw him. By the way Matt interacted with my daughter and others, I knew that he was well on his way of becoming a "lion of a man." Stewart's obedience to God in yielding up the racism handed down to him from generations past enabled his son Matthew to become a master bridge builder to other people and races.

Matthew graduated from high school a couple years later and enrolled in a university. He died tragically in a car accident on his way home from school during spring break. As Stewart and his wife prepared for Matthew's funeral, they learned of their son's budding romance to a beautiful, young black woman who also attended the same university. They immediately phoned her and her parents and invited them over. Stewart and his wife warmly embraced her and her parents. As they sat there, Stewart told them that he sensed Matthew was getting closed to proposing her by the way he shared things with his mom. More importantly, he told the young woman:

"Had the time come when Matthew would have proposed to you, my wife and I would have welcomed you with open arms as our daughter."

The young lady could not hold back her tears as she ran to lovingly embrace both Stewart and his wife.

The day of Matthew's funeral looked as if dignitaries had descended on the city. People of all nationalities came in cars and chartered buses to pay tribute to Matthew's extraordinary life. The church quickly filled to capacity and the ushers had to redirect the visitors to sit in the overflow area. When people were given an opportunity to say words about him, each person tearfully told examples of Matthew's random acts of kindness. Although Matthew was lived to be only 19 years old, he profoundly impacted his family, friends and community of nations.

May we all learn from Stewart's, Elaine's and Matthew's example. When we truthfully deal with our own attitudes pertaining to racism, truly love all people and seek for opportunities to build bridges among each other, we will all become better people and children of God. Let us especially look for meaningful ways to express the love of Christ within the local church and community in which we live.

White brothers and sisters: Blacks do not hold you personally accountable for the sins of your great-grandparents. You are responsible, however, for leveling the playing field . "A hand up and not a handout." Take the time to educate us to our issues. We are not looking for you to feel sorry for us. We want to be heard and understood. If we are qualified to teach and preach, let us. Nothing more egregious than you putting up a white high-school teenager to teach on Wednesday when you haven't open your pulpit to one of us - college-educated and professional minority members. Especially if we've been long time, regular contributors and supporters of the ministry. Lastly, recognize us in private settings when we share information with you that dramatically helps the ministry.

To my Black, Hispanic and other ethnic groups: Do not make your white brothers and sisters' your scapegoat for personal issues that you fail to address. You should seek to observe and mimic the positive behaviors of your white brothers and sisters. Stop being late to everything. Pay attention to detail. Look for opportunities to share your gifts and talents to the body of Christ without the need of having to be recognized for everything.

Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, please forgive us of the sin of racism and our unwillingness to leave our comfort zones to engage all people in the body of Christ. Heal us from the scars of our past. Give us courage to love all people.

Most Christians believe the work of sharing the Good News of the Kingdom to the nations only belongs to Billy Graham, Benny Hinn and the satellite TV stations. Still others are afraid to share their faith because they don't know how or out of fear of being rejected by their peers. Yet the nations of the world look for hope, help and restoration.

In Mike Atkins' insightful book, Church of the Nations: Becoming a 21^st Century Church, he speaks about nations being much more than places that are defined by borders. Mike goes on to say that nations are anywhere communities of people with common cultures gather. For instance, soccer moms would be one such community. Baseball dads would be another community. Wherever you live, work or play which brings you in contact with groups of people, you have your nations. Click here to purchase Mike Atkins' book at his web site.

The Bible says that we should make the best of every opportunity. How do we do so?

Plain and simple, we build relationships. Yes, relationship-based evangelism. Jesus described us as "a city that sits on a hill which cannot be hid."

During Jesus' earthly ministry, He was literally the Master of building relationships. Jesus made it a point of looking for opportunities to connect with people in a meaningful ways. Relationship building takes time and dedication.

I'm reminded of a story that I heard while attending a conference for campus pastors and student leaders. This particular speaker, a devout Christian, told of how his company sent him to work in their Tehran, Iran office for five years. Before leaving for Iran, the vice president of operations warned him not share his faith under any circumstances. Iran, after all, is a Muslim country. This news troubled him but he prayed and trusted God to give him wisdom while working there. For five years, the man worked with his senior Iranian counterparts. He spoke of how much he longed to share his testimony with these Iranian gentlemen about how Christ changed his life.

A month before he left, the Iranian senior manager approached him after work. The man said, "For five years, I've watched you. Each day, you've come to work excited to be here. I know you must miss your family but you never complain about being away from them. You work harder and longer than any person on the team. You are always willing to help other members of the team. Everything you do is excellent. There's something about you that I cannot quite put my finger on. What is it?" In that instance, God opened the door for this devout Christian professional to share his faith.

He summed up with his talk by encouraging us to "earn the right" to share our faith with others through good works and building relationships.

Ways that you can help share the Good News of the Kingdom of God:

1. Build strong relationships with others that are around you.
2. Pray to be sensitive to opportunities to share the Gospel with your friends and family.
   
3. Support your local church contributing your time or money or both.
   
4. Contribute to worthwhile ministries who focus on building the nations where they preach the Gospel.
   
5. Determine to be the very best example of Christ in whatever you do.
   

The lyrics from the song "A Life That Shows" by the Christian artists 'Commissioned' are worth meditating on today:

"People deal with you everyday.
They see you come and likewise go.
They listen to the words that you say.
What you stand for, they don't know.

A little outward show

It's the Lord you stand for.

Your Daily Sign: "Endurance and Salvation"

"But the one who endures to the end
will be saved."
(Matthew 24:13)

A great athlete does not develop endurance by merely stepping on to the field of competition. Endurance is developed behind the scenes and gained through consistency and resistance training. A person who starts weight training for the very first time does not lift the heaviest weights first. He would quickly become discouraged. A wise person would first seek out a trainer. One of the first things that his trainer would tell him is it is not HOW MUCH weight that you can lift the weight ONCE. Rather, the real test of your strength is how MANY TIMES you can lift the weight.

Together, the trainer and trainee develop goals and a plan of attack. The trainee must commit to follow the plan by going to the gym and using the proper weightlifting techniques. Over time, the amount of weight that he can lift increases. Before long, he is lifting the heavier weights many times over.

In our daily walk with Christ, we are constantly being challenged by the flesh, the world and the devil to turn away from our faith in God. Jesus said that the Holy Spirit would be our teacher (trainer). Through walking in obedience to Holy Spirit and God's Word, we learn how to grow stronger in the Lord and how to overcome evil one on a consistent basis.

"Submit yourselves therefore to God.
Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
(James 4:7 )

Our consistency in Christ is directly tied to our ability to say "Yes" and "No" to things that are presented to us. We must grow stronger in our faith by consistently saying "No" to ungodly living and "Yes" to the will of God for our lives.

"And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God."
(Titus 2:12)

Jesus tells us that the biggest challenge of believers everywhere will be our ability and willingness to endure temptations and hardships. Satan and this evil world put us through grueling amounts of trials and tribulations. The devil is betting that we will break under pressure. We must determine within ourselves that we will draw closer to Christ during the good and bad times. We should be like the passenger clenching to the parachute strapped to his back after hearing that he must soon jump before the airplane crashes.

I can remember trying out for the High School football team for the first time. Over several days, the coaches put us through a grueling regiment of drills designed to push us beyond perceived limits. We also participated in scrimmages where the coaches could rate our ability to run the plays. Finally, we were thanked for our participation and sent home. Waiting to hear who made the team was tougher than the tryouts themselves. Finally, the biggest day arrived. The principal announced the students who made the team. I made it! I was so excited! I went on to letter in football three times and was awarded my Letterman's jacket.

In like manner, Jesus promises us that great rewards await us for our endurance and willingness to overcome the devil and this evil world:

"And he who overcomes and keeps My works to the end, to him I will give power over the nations. And he will rule them with a rod of iron, as the vessels of a potter they will be broken to pieces, even as I received from My Father.
And I will give him the Morning Star."
(Revelation 2:26-28)

"The one who overcomes, this one will be clothed in white clothing. And I will not blot out his name out of the Book of Life, but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels."
(Revelation 3:5)

Him who overcomes I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will go out no more. And I will write upon him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of Heaven from My God, and My new name.
(Revelation 3:12)

To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me in My throne, even as I also overcame and have sat down with My Father in His throne.
(Revelation 3:21)

God the Father sums it up this way:
"He who overcomes will inherit all things, and I will be his God,
and he will be My son."

Your Daily Sign: "True Love in Short Supply!"

"And because iniquity (sinful, shameless behaviors and actions)
shall abound (increase and become normal forms of expression in society), the love of many shall wax cold."
(Matthew 24:12, emphasis and words in quotes added for clarity)

I am reminded of the great wax museums of Hollywood, New York and London. These museums feature the life-like replicas of celebrities and world leaders.

"Wow, they look so real!," is the usual phrase spoken by over 300,000 people who visit the Hollywood Museum yearly. The creators of these waxworks use tens of pounds of beeswax to create each replica. They also use painstaking detail to depict the celebrities' best features and poses. They also adorn these wonderful works of art with the best wigs, clothes and accessories. Being able to pose for a picture with each of 'wax' celebrities can be a dream come true.

Since the life-like replicas are made of wax, the curators warn visitors not to smoke around the statutes. Fire is a wax image's worst enemy. If you apply fire to any object, it will change the properties of that object.

"While you are dating, your breath always smells like Scope [mouthwash]."

The primary reason why so many couples fail is because when the fires of life (e.g. loss of a job, money or the lack thereof, sexual temptation from the outside) are applied to it, the love melts away like wax. Suddenly, each spouse discovers how true our love really is. Many people find out too late that the "wonderful" person that they fell in love with was only a wax shell of personality and not character.

"I just don't love you anymore."

Like those wax replicas, we look the part. We dress the part. In society's eyes, we are the "perfect couple." Behind closed doors is a different story. We are rarely affectionate. We never pray together. We divide our money. We sleep in different bedrooms. We fight and curse all the time. We meet our sexual needs outside the home. We hate each other. We are living a lie. In short, our love has become cold as ice. Some couples doom themselves to a loveless marriage for the sake of the children and not to be deem their marriage as a failure. They live as roommates.

Others throw in the towel. Separation and divorce quickly ensues. Assets are divided. A custody war for the children is waged. The children, the innocent ones, are used as pawns by their parents to hurt the other spouse. Everyone involved is disappointed, hurt, angry and scarred. Every relationship after this failed marriage will be viewed only through hurting and distrustful eyes. Your children grow up fearing serious relationships. The legacy (generational curse) of divorce and failed relationships now haunt your family tree. Satan knows this. This is the reason why he has declared full-scale war against marriage and families. The devil wants to mess us up. In short, he seeks to wreck each one of our lives.

Dr. Tony Evans, pastor of the Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship, said it something like this:

"A 'messed up' person in a 'messed up' church,
living in a 'messed up' home,
a 'messed up' home located in a 'messed up' neighborhood,
a 'messed up' neighborhood that's located in a 'messed up' city,
a 'messed up' city that is situated in a 'messed up' county,
a 'messed up' county that is a part of a 'messed up' state,
a 'messed up' state that makes up a 'messed up' nation,
a 'messed up' nation that makes up a 'messed up' world."

In place of true love, the devil blasts our senses with pornography, sex-laden music and advertising. He tempts us to commit lewd sex acts and lead alternative lifestyles. He whispers seducing lies:"It's okay to cheat on your spouse." If you are single, Satan tells you that waiting on God to give you a spouse is so yesterday. You should have what you need right NOW. After all, you are only human." Satan offers us drugs and alcohol to ease the pain and hurt that we've experiencing. What we often fail to realize is that there is a "high cost for low living."

When we decide to live apart from God and fill our lives with "sexual perversion, fornication, adultery, pornography, drugs, ungodly music and lustful entertainment," we choke out the true love and compassion that we should have for others and ourselves. Like hard-headed Pinocchio, we play with reckless abandon on the Wicked Wagon Maker's (the Devil) playground of vices until we turn into jackasses. Many women frequently ask "Why can't I find a man who will commit to me?"
Let me try to answer:

1. He's afraid of being hurt and rejected again. Rejection is the greatest fear of a man.
2. He can find a willing woman who wants sex without any strings attached.
   
3. Men love to conquer things. When you hop in the bed with him prior to getting married, he stops pursuing you. I know you told your girlfriends how amazing the sex was. What you failed to realize is that you've just been conquered. It's time for him to move to the next conquest. The guy tells you that he doesn't have time to build a relationship.

You tell yourself "If we can just live together, we're one step closer." You are making a terrible mistake. You are just playing up to your greatest fear: ABANDONMENT
You are only delaying the inevitable should he finally decide to marry you. Believe me when I say, he will leave you!

True love is discovered when you find a love greater than you are capable of giving.
The Bible says that "We love Him because He first loved us." God loves us unconditionally. He doesn't care what we have or how we look.

True love takes unbelievable courage and tenacity. Jesus was willing to lay His Love for us on the line. He died for our sins to express His Love for us. We won't ever have to be lonely again. With Christ in our heart, we can learn to love again and guard our hearts from the evil one.

The Lord takes the time to address our greatest fears in His Love Letter to us - The Bible.

For those of us with abandonment issues, He says "I will never leave you or forsake you."
For those of us with rejection issues, He says "Whoever comes to me, I will not reject."

You can discover a love deeper and truer than you've ever experienced. The Lord can heal you of your hurts. He can replace your bruised and calloused heart with a new one - full of love and vitality. Want to learn how? Read The Most Important Post You'll Ever Read.

In a loving marriage...
The number one need of a man is SEX.
The number one need of a woman is AFFECTION.
When the husband and wife freely gives sex and affection to each other in the love of Christ, over time, the marriage can become as strong as the redwood trees of California.

How true is your love for Jesus and your family?
How deep is your love and compassion for others?

Remember what Jesus said:
"By loving each other, all the world will know that you are truly My Disciples."

Paul wrote:

"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
As it is written:
"For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered."
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

(Romans 8:35-39, New International Version)

Your Daily Sign: "False Prophets Everywhere"

And many false prophets will appear
and will deceive many people.
(Matthew 24:11)

Because many people will have turned from Christ, betrayed and hate each other, they will flock to false prophets and teachers who will cater to their lusts of their bodies, lust of their eyes and their insatiable desires to gain wealth at any cost.

The Apostle Paul sums it up this way:

"For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear.
They will reject the truth and chase after myths.
(2 Timothy 4: 3-4)

Can you recognize a true prophet
from a false one?

Here are some major differences:
- A true prophet attributes his source of inspiration and foresight of future events to God and His Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Scriptures.
- A false prophet will praise himself or some mystical force as the source of knowing the future.

- A true prophet will say all people's heart without God is sinful and evil by nature.
- A false prophet will say all people's heart are good by nature.

- A true prophet will demand that people repent from their evil and selfish ways and believe the Good News of the Kingdom. They will also tell people plainly how to enter the Kingdom by being born again by trusting in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

- A false prophet will encourage people to do "good deeds," believe in the goodness of man and encourage people work for the unity of mankind on earth. This will bring about world peace and a utopia.

- A true prophet will teach people plainly how to ask and trust God the Father in prayer to meet their needs. Jesus said, "Whatsoever you ask the Father in My Name, He will do it."

- A false prophet will teach people "The Secret(s)." He or she will teach people that the 'secrets' are ancient, mystical ways to obtain anything they want from the universe. A false prophet will also teach people that they are 'divine', they must say and visualize what they want, and believe the universe to bring their deepest desires to them.

- A true prophet will proclaim that Heaven is prepared by God for those who love Him.
- A false prophet will tell people that all good people go to Heaven.

- A true prophet will teach people that Jesus Christ will soon visibly return to Earth on the clouds of Heaven to establish His Kingdom.
- A false prophet will teach people that Jesus Christ has already returned to Earth and that they need his help to find him.

- The words of a true prophet of the Lord always comes to past.
- The words of a false prophet never does. He or she will seek to explain away why something did or did not happen. The false prophet will fault people for their lack of faith in him or the 'gods.'

- A true prophet will work under the authority of Jesus Christ. Read what Christ said to the Apostle Paul:

"For I have appeared to you to appoint you as My servant and witness. You are to tell the world what you have seen and what I will show you in the future.

And I will rescue you from both your own people [the Jews]
and the Gentiles [people who are not Jews].

Yes, I am sending you to the Gentiles to open their [unbelieving] eyes, so they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God.

Then they will receive forgiveness for their sins and be given a place among God's people, who are set apart by faith in Me.'

I wanted to get the first portion of this post out here for my early morning readers. The following passages from the New Testament book 2 Timothy, Chapter 3 is Part 2 of the original post.

2 Timothy, Chapter 3 (NLT)

The Dangers of the Last Days

1 You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times.

2 For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred.

3 They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good.

4 They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God.

5 They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!

Future World Headline: Another Clinton Sex Scandal!

"For all that is secret will eventually be brought into the open,
and everything that is concealed will be brought to light and made known to all."

During the mid-1990s, Hillary Clinton wrote a column in which she stated that she regularly consults with psychics and channels the spirit of Eleanor Roosevelt (Read the CNN article interviewing Bob Woodward here). Seeing that she consults Eleanor Roosevelt's ghost in matters pertaining to state, it is not a stretch to imagine that Hillary also deeply admires and models Eleanor Roosevelt in personal matters as well.

It is a matter of historical record that when FDR's affair with his secretary came to light in the mid-1940s, former First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt was devastated. When FDR was stricken by polio, Mrs. Roosevelt ran the White House. She also maintained a lifelong lesbian love affair with Lorena Hickok during the FDR administration.

One can only wonder how deeply scarred and calloused Hillary's inner core has become as a result of Bill's sexual misconduct down through the years. Who does she turn to for comfort and solace? Hence, the future headline:

Hillary's future presidency will be rocked
by a major sex scandal of her own doing.

The nation and the world will be rocked by another Clinton sex scandal. Once again, another President Clinton will forever change American families' dinner table discussions with their school age children about sex. America's Youth are still reeling from former President Bill Clinton's assertion that "oral sex is NOT SEX!"

Instead of Hillary coming clean about her sexual proclivities, she will be unrepentant. The walls of the West Wing will reverberate as she goes on a cursing tirade. Hillary will again blast the media (especially the conservative TV and radio outlets), "the vast right wing conspiracy," and retaliate against them by trying to force the issue of revisiting the Fairness Doctrine in Congress. Future President Hillary Clinton will also lash out against certain members of the Press using some of the Draconian measures enacted by current President George W. Bush and U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales. She will retain the greatest share of ire and loathing - for herself.

Together, Hillary and Bill Clinton will be the Queen Jezebel and King Ahab of the modern era once she wins the Presidency of the United States of America.

Former President Richard Nixon said of Hillary whom he met when he visited President Bill Clinton at the West Wing shortly before his death:

"All of this...deliberating over Bosnia makes [Bill Clinton] look weak.
[Clinton is] looking for their permission!
This isn't leadership! He doesn't scare anybody
... Hillary inspires fear!"

Why am I posting this explosive bit of news?

God
who gives life to the dead and calls those things
which do not exist as though they did;
wants you to know.
It is He only who sits the throne of Heaven.
He looks low and knows the secret affairs
and dealings of all who live on the Earth.

What are you to do with this news? Watch the news headlines, but most of all,

Believe in the only true God, and Jesus Christ
whom God sent to Earth.

Your Daily Sign: "Betrayal and Hatred"

"And many will turn away
from Me and betray and hate each other."
(Matthew 24:10, NLT)

This is probably one of the most difficult posts for me to write. So, I will release this post in two parts. Please return tomorrow to read the conclusion of this post.

The reason why this “Your Daily Sign” is so difficult is because I believe that these words that Jesus spoke about the End Times will pierce the deepest recesses of your heart and mine.

Yesterday's "Your Daily Sign of His Return" post dealt with coming persecution of believers. Click here to read. The fallout from the persecution will be devastating to Christians worldwide. As the idiomatic expression goes, "The Other Shoe Drops."

Unless you and I die or the Rapture happens before the coming persecution, every believer will be under tremendous duress and pressure. Make no mistake about it. We will face unthinkable arrest and persecution.

Think of your WORST nightmare.
Think of the SCARIEST horror movie that you ever watched.
Think of the MOST DREADFUL experience that you have ever had in your life.
The coming persecution will be a million times worse.

During the eighties, Presidents, celebrities, famous athletes and pop singers were all eager to tell their audiences:

“I’m born again.”

This will not be the case anymore. The heart of every Christian will be exposed. It is only under great pressure do we know who we really are. Jesus tells us plainly that many of us people...

who profess to be Christians,
go to church,
give a tenth of our incomes,
read our Bibles,
and pray to Him

...WILL LEAVE HIM
like His Twelve (12) disciples did on the night that He was arrested.

Yes, you correctly read the previous statement!

When that happens, many of us will do FAR WORST than the original 12 disciples did:

We will BETRAY and HATE each other!!!

GOD HELP US ALL!!!

To be betrayed is one thing. We have all experienced a measure of betrayal in our lives. To be betrayed by a close friend or loved one cuts to the heart. You weep bitterly. You lament. It cuts so deeply that you feel as if your own life is literally being sucked out of you. You experience a sense of death itself. It is the death of a relationship.

King David experienced the same type of betrayal and hatred from a dear friend and wrote about it in the Book of Psalms:

"How quickly I would escape—far from this wild storm of hatred.
Everything is falling apart; threats and cheating are rampant in the streets.

It is not an enemy who taunts me—I could bear that.
It is not my foes who so arrogantly insult me—I could have hidden from them.
Instead, it is YOU—
my equal,
my companion
and [my] close friend.
What good fellowship we once enjoyed as we walked together to the house of God."
(Psalm 55:8-16)

Oh, the coming sorrow!!!

Yes, many of us Christians who scold the world about the need to love each other will venomously hate each other guts before the Lord returns!

Many of our closest, former Christian friends will serve as spies for the antichrist’s Gestapo. The Gestapo was Nazi Germany’s ruthless secret state police who were given vast amount of unbridled power to find, capture and kill the Jews. They paid the most respectable members of society – doctors, lawyers, even homemakers to falsely befriend Jews. In turn, these model friends and citizens would inform the Gestapo where to find the Jews to arrest them.

Even the Roman Catholic Church was in on it. John Cornwell, the author of the book and a friend of the Vatican, “Hitler’s Pope,” started his book project with the sole intention of vindicating Pope Pius XII’s actions during World War II. As he chronicled all of his research, he was inconsolable when the facts led him to unassailable conclusions:

1. Pope Pius XII himself could have stopped Hitler’s rise to power. He did nothing because he wanted “more power.” The pope also expressly forbade the German Catholics from protesting Hitler’s actions.
   
   
2. When Hitler announced the Final Solution to kill 6,000,000 Jews in the Holocaust, the pope ordered German Catholics to respect Hitler’s leadership and not to shield the Jewish people during persecution.

Many of these German Catholics had befriended Jews down through the decades. They probably went to dinner at each other’s houses on many occasions. Their kids probably played together at the same playground before Hitler segregated the Jews from the Germans.

I want you to understand that it was not only the Jews who were persecuted during World War II. It also German Catholics and Protestants were tortured, sent to concentration camps and executed because they refused to betray and hate their Jewish friends.

How much do you and I love Jesus, our friends and loved ones?

"There is no greater love than to lay down
one's life for one's friends.”
- Jesus Christ (John 15:13)

Jesus proved it how much He loved us when He died on the Cross for our sins.

Are we willing to do the same?

Russia's Putin: The Hammer & "Heart-throb?"

Russian President Vladmir Putin and his "Mother Russia" have been stealing the international news headlines this week:

• Russia "Procreation" Parties: Russian Youth urged to make babies for the glory of Mother Russia
• Russia marks day with strong military showing

Now this week, Putin bares chest as Russia's heart-throb President.

Putin - a "heart-throb?"

The Kremlin hardliners believe that Putin has lost his mind. However, the Kremlin-owned media doesn't seem to agree. Russian media has been a buzz - especially because the Russian President had the pictures posted on his official website.

When military strikes against former Russian states and Chechen rebels does not work, Putin seduce the masses with sexy photo-ops, nostalgia of the USSR's military glory days and urging a younger generation of Russians to embrace him as "cool and chic." Make no mistake: Putin's strategy is working!

According to the Old Testament book of Ezekiel, the soon-to-be reconstituted Soviet Union will rise again to attack Israel in the near future.

The Most Important Post You'll EVER Read!

My friend, I am so grateful that you allow me to sow this word of God through the End Times Intelligence Report into your life on daily, weekly or monthly basis. As much as I enjoy writing the other posts on this site, I believe that this post is by far, the most important one out here.

I feel pressed in my heart to ask you the following question:

"Do You Know Jesus?"

I believe that it is extremely urgent and important that you answer that question. If you don't know Jesus the One who loves you and me with an everlasting love, I like to introduce Him to you. Jesus said,

"For God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.
God sent His Son into the world not to judge the world,
but to save the world through Him."
(John 3:16-17, NLT)

Paul the Apostle wrote:

"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart
that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God,
and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved."
(Romans 10:9-10)

All you have to do is pray the following simple prayer with all of your heart:

"God, I know You love me and have always loved me. I was born in sin and have constantly violated your laws. I know there is nothing that I can ever do, in my own strength, that can make myself pleasing in Your Sight. I know that I am worthy of an eternity in hell that was meant for the devil and his angels. That's why I thank you for sending Your Son Jesus Christ, who came willingly to die for my sins. I believe that through His Suffering, Death and Resurrection, that You have already forgiven me and accepted me into the Kingdom of Your Dear Son, Jesus.

I renounce satan and all the unfruitful works of darkness. I confess you now as my Lord and Savior. Please write my name in the Book of Life. I thank you for washing my heart and spirit in your blood. Because I believe your Word, (Romans 10:9-10), I am saved, a new creation in Christ Jesus and a child of God. I pledge my life to you in love and service until the end of time. Amen."

Here's what God Himself says:

"For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD.
"They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."

"In those days when you pray, I will listen."

"If you look for Me wholeheartedly, you will find Me."
"I will be found by you," says the LORD.
(Jeremiah 29:11-14a)

With the signs of the end of the age and of His Return intensifying, I urge you to reconsider your position. Escape the coming wrath of God (described in graphic detail in the Revelation - the last book of the Bible) which will come upon the coming world ruler (antichrist), the coming one world government and all those who receive his mark in their hands and foreheads.

Let's all be ready because The King is Coming!!!

Your Daily Sign: "Mass Persecution of True Christians"

While driving on the interstate, I ran across a bumper sticker which read,

"If being a Christian was a crime,
would there be enough evidence to convict you?"

The next, major unmistakable sign of His Return will not bode well physically for the followers of Christ:

"Then you will be arrested, persecuted, and killed.
You will be hated all over the world because you are My followers."
(Matthew 24:9, NLT)

The Voice of the Martyrs, a Christian publication prominently feature here at the End Times Intelligence Report, chronicles persecution of believers in Christ happening NOW around the world. Read today's feature about "Christian Persecution on the Rise in Iraq."

Mark, another disciple of Christ records the same conversation in the book which bears is his name:

"And everyone will hate you because you are My followers.
But the one who endures to the end will be saved."
(Mark 13:13, NLT)

Here are the behaviors (the evidence, if you will) that you and I as believers in Jesus should be known for (at home, work and play):
"But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives:

• love,
• joy,
• peace,
• patience,
• kindness,
• goodness,
• faithfulness,
• gentleness,
• and self-control.

There is no law against these things!"
(Galatians 5:22-23, NLT)

Interesting note: These fruits are produced in our lives by the work of the Holy Spirit as obey God's Word on a daily basis. These behaviors of one's true character which cannot be faked over the long term.

As a child, one of the elderly "saints* (see note below)" would say:

"Satan is running the cost up everyday to live holy."

(*Author's note: all believers in Jesus are also referred to "saints" and not a select few "canonized" by the Roman Catholic Church. The Bible instructs believers NOT to pray to other people-past or present, angels, images or statues. Only the Heavenly Father, Jesus His Son and the Holy Spirit are worthy of our worship.)

Whenever she'd say that, I would think about the cost of gasoline going up at the pump. But her analogy stuck. She passed away nearly 10 years ago but how right she was and still is!!!

You'd think that all governments and societies would love for its citizens to model those behaviors listed above. The Bible says "Not so." True Christianity will never win popularity contests or appear on "Oprah."

Daniel prophesied by the Holy Spirit over 2500 years ago about the end times with pinpoint accuracy:

"As I watched, this horn [the antichrist (author's emphasis)] was waging war against God's holy people and was defeating them, until the Ancient One—the Most High—came and judged in favor of His holy people. Then the time arrived for the holy people to take over the kingdom.

(Daniel 7:21-23, NLT)

We will have to contend with persecution during the reign of the antichrist UNTIL the Lord returns to violently overthrow the coming antichrist, false prophet and his world government. John wrote in the book of Revelation that the antichrist preferred method of execution of Christians and Jews will be beheading by sword and/or guillotine.

"And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. "
(Revelation 20:4)

This author believes that the antichrist will be Islam's prophesied Mahdi and will be worshiped worldwide by Muslims (purchase the book "Antichrist: Islam's Promised Messiah by Joel Richardson at our bookstore by clicking here).

The antichrist (the coming One World Government Leader will proclaims himself as "God" on the world's major news networks), the false prophet (the future Pope) will sign secret pacts with the Muslims to give them a major portion of Jerusalem in exchange for their services to hunt down and murder Christians and Jews alike when he breaks the seven-year Security, Peace and Prosperity (SPP) Treaty with Israel.

(Interesting note: The word 'Islam' means 'submission to God')

These Muslims will gladly accept his mark and become "the soldiers of 'god' - the antichrist's foot soldiers who will run to carry out order his orders. Today, public beheadings are the preferred form of execution in Islamic states. Read the article: "Beheading in the Name of Islam"

And why will they persecute the true followers of Jesus? Jesus tells us frankly:

"The world can't hate you, but it does hate Me because I accuse it of doing evil."
(John 7:7, author's emphasis)

"And the judgment is based on this fact: God's light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants. "
(John 3:19-21, author's emphasis)

"If the world hates you, remember that it hated Me first."
(John 15:18, author's emphasis)

The book of Hebrews chronicles the early martyrs of the Christian faith:

"Women received their loved ones back again from death.
But others were tortured, refusing to turn from God in order to be set free.
They placed their hope in a better life after the resurrection.

Some were jeered at, and their backs were cut open with whips.
Others were chained in prisons.
Some died by stoning, some were sawed in half, [some were tested,]
and others were killed with the sword. Some went about wearing skins of sheep and goats, destitute and oppressed and mistreated.

They were too good for this world, wandering over deserts and mountains,
hiding in caves and holes in the ground.

All these people earned a good reputation because of their faith,
yet none of them received all that God had promised.

For God had something better in mind for us,
so that they would not reach perfection without us.
(Hebrews 11:36:39, NLT, author's emphasis)

We are not to pray or worship Allah, Buddha, Krishna, Vishnu, self-proclaimed messiahs, the coming Antichrist, the Pope, Mary, the Roman Catholic Church or a Protestant denomination or even rock star TV evangelists and pastors. We are to remain loyal to God and believe in Jesus Christ whom God sent.

For Jesus alone:
...died for sins of the world.
...God raised from the dead again on the third day and is alive forevermore.
...has ascended back to Heaven
...is seated at the Right Hand of God
...intercedes for our behalf to God
...will return on the clouds of Heaven with great power.
...will be given the nations to rule over
...will establish the Eternal Kingdom.

The Bible says:

"Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant,
and was made in the likeness of men:
And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself,
and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him,
and given him a name which is above every name:
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven,
and things in earth, and things under the earth;
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father."

(Php 2:5 -11, NLT)

Let's not get comfortable in Western Christianity. Each day, fellow Christians around the world are paying the price of their faith in their own blood. We should pray daily for our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world.

Meanwhile, we should look in a mirror and ask ourselves the two questions:

"Am I willing to lay down my life for Christ,
if it be required of me?"

"Am I willing to live in such a way that someone can point in my direction and accuse me of being a follower of Christ?'

We should be like the Apostle Paul who wrote in his letter to the Philippian Church before he put his life on the line at the hands of Nero, a Roman Emperor:

"For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain." (Php 1:21, KJVR)

Remember:

It's only when we are ready to die for Christ
that we are truly free from fear to live for Him.

Your Daily Sign: "Creation's Birth Pains"

"But all this is only
the first of the birth pains,
with more to come."
(Matthew 24:8, NLT)

Isn't it interesting that Jesus would sum up the signs of the end of the age and of His Return as "birth pains?"

Watching my wife going through her birth pains with our first son was extremely jarring experience to me. I can remember her having what are known as "Braxton Hicks" contractions - light contractions which ripples from the womb to the spine.

Her water broke. I boiled the water (just joking). The contractions became more and more violent. I call the doctor. The nurse answered.

She said, "She's getting closer but it not yet time for her to be delivered. Her contractions have to be three to five minutes apart consistently before you can bring her to the maternity ward." In the meantime, you can to put two tennis balls in a sock and roll them gently across her back to ease her pain (if only briefly). "

For nine hours, I sat helplessly beside her as she laid on the couch.

For nine hours, deep guttural moans and groans bellowed out of that tender frame and reverberated off the walls of our little one bedroom apartment at University's family housing.

Suddenly, uncontrollable, lightning-like contractions struck her body with profound intensity. She writhed in agony - munching on ice chips for some reprieve. But to no avail.
I knew that time was near because her contractions pounded her in "non-stop" in 3 to 5 intervals, just as the nurse told me.

It was time for her to deliver our baby.

Question: 'Who's experiencing these birth pangs in today's Scripture?'

Answer: All of Creation!
(Everything that God created!!!)

The Bible says:

"For we know that all creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time."
(Romans 8:22)

Since Adam and Eve's fall in the Garden, the entire creation has been grotesquely affected by the effects of sin under the control of the evil one whose only purpose is "steal, kill and destroy. (John 10:10). Creation became like C. S. Lewis' Narnia:

"It is always winter
But never Christmas."

Global Warming started when Adam and Eve fell. Sin has poisoned every human relationship. Cain killed his brother Abel. Innocent blood was shed and drank by the Earth. Killing among mankind and the species began and has spiraled out of control every since.

Every unimaginable act of rebellion and atrocity that could be committed against the King of Heaven has been committed by us. Moses warned the Child of Israel that God said that their sins would cause "the land to vomit you out of it (Lev. 18)" if they committed the following detestable acts (like their enemies who dwelled in the land):

• Murder
• Incest
• Child Sacrifice to Idols
• Spouse-swapping
• Sex with in-laws, stepchildren and step-siblings
• Homosexuality and lesbianism
• Bestiality (sex with animals)
• Witchcraft & other occult practices
  

The Children of Israel did not heed the Lord's Warning through Moses and were led into captivity by the very enemies that they set out to conquer. Mankind continues these acts against God until now - with more and more blazen resolve. The savages of sin are ever with us:

• Why are the great whales of the ocean beaching on land to die?
• Why is the sun bearing down upon us with greater heat and intensity?
• Why do we value the life of animals more the life of innocent babies?
• Why are friends and loved ones wasting away from drugs and senseless violence in our streets?
• Why do we go from war to war?

Sin has gotten all of our priorities turned upside down. Creation is confronted with constant chaos and struggle. Countries go to war with other countries because of the lust for power over resources and people. These wars are even played out at the microscopic level as bacteria and viruses fight it out healthy blood cells and living tissue.

When Jesus came the first time, it was to become our substitute for our sin on the Cross. He bore the full weight of the wrath of God against us in His body. No longer would mankind have to reach up to God. God, through Jesus, reached down to us.

When we believe on Jesus, the Holy Spirit supernaturally does the following work in us:

1. Our spiritual man (the real you and me) are connected back to God the Father.
2. We become a new creation in our spirit.
3. We spend the rest of our lives training our soul (the seat of our emotions and five senses) how to operate as children of God.

The only part of us that is not made a new creation at the moment we are born again is OUR PHYSICAL BODIES (the flesh). It is still under the original curse of Adam and the rest of creation which is DECAY and DEATH.

Yes, that's right. As believers, the biggest and constant battlefronts against our newly created hearts and souls are

1. The Flesh (God's Way vs. My Way)
2. The World System
3. The devil himself (who uses the world system and our flesh to try to tempt us away from the Love of God and into rebellion.)

So now, all of creation cries out to the Lord to rid it of the effects of sin.
But Great News!!! When the sinless Son of God spilled His Righteous Blood, it ran down that old, rugged Cross and soaked into the Earth as eternal righteous seed of redemption for Creation as well. The Creator of Creation is coming to deliver it from the dreadful, deadly effects of sin.

So, we all wait for the "Blessed Hope" of His Return. Jesus, the Holy Doctor is coming to deliver those who love Him and Our Heavenly Father. He's also coming to deliver all of the innocent bystanders of His Creation.

But not just yet. He waits patiently for others to come to trust in Him as Lord and Savior and to enter into the Kingdom. While He waits, you and I must work - sharing our testimony of how Christ saved us and made us new and clean from the inside out.

Q: Are believers perfect?
A: No! We are forgiven and instructed to deny ourselves,
take up our crosses and follow Jesus daily.

As you know, the purpose of birth pains is to result in a new life. In our case, we had a beautiful, bouncing baby boy! (and two other precious ones).

"OH THE JOY!
...that flooded every fiber of my being!!!"

My wife told me that when she first saw and held our son, she forgot about the pain of labor.
So, my wife and I signed up for this same process a second and third time as well. (smile)


Like my wife's nurse, the Lord Jesus is instructing us with irrefutable signs of the end of the age, of His Return. Meanwhile, evil men under the control of satan, will form the coming World Government seek to stop God Himself has set in motion.


Now that the labor pains have started, Creation must bring forth what is purposed.


When it is time, Creation (the whole Universe) will:

1. Herald the arrival of Christ the King to destroy those who are destroying the Earth.
2. Give Birth to "a new heaven and new earth." (Revelation 21)
3. Make known the true children of God (past and present).

"For all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day
when God will reveal who His children really are."
(Romans 8:19, NLT)

In that day:

He [God, Our Heavenly Father] will wipe every tear from their [our] eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain.
All these things are gone forever."

Oh, how I long for that day to come!!! Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, Christ wants us to know:

"Yes, I am coming soon!"

Whatever it takes.

Your Daily Sign of His Return: "Earthquakes Everywhere"

"Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
There will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world. "
(Matthew 24:7)

On yesterday, we spoke to famines. Today, we turn our attention to the other half of the same verse where Jesus speaks to the next major sign of His Return - earthquakes in many parts of the world.

According to National Geographic:

"Some 80 percent of all the planet's earthquakes occur along the rim of the Pacific Ocean, called the "Ring of Fire" because of the preponderance of volcanic activity there as well. Most earthquakes occur at fault zones, where tectonic plates; giant rock slabs that make up the Earth's upper layer; collide or slide against each other.

On average, a magnitude 8 quake strikes somewhere every year and some 10,000 people die worldwide annually in earthquakes. Collapsing buildings claim by far the majority of lives, but the destruction is often compounded by mud slides, fires, floods, or tsunamis."

When a scientist at the United States Department of Energy was asked about how many earthquakes occur yearly, he responded:

"Nobody knows exactly how many earthquakes there are per
year since many of the really small earthquakes go
unrecorded.  Generally, an earthquake must be at
least magnitude 5 to assure that it is recorded by
a seismograph somewhere on earth.  Over the last
ten years or so, there have been an average of 1656
magnitude 5 or larger earthquakes each year.

Information Center of the U.S. Geological Survey
in Golden, Colorado.)

As a rule of thumb, for every magnitude you drop down,
there are roughly ten times more earthquakes.  So,
if there are 1656 magnitude 5 or larger earthquakes
per year, there are about 16,560 magnitude 4 or larger
earthquakes per year.  Nobody is sure how far down
this rule of thumb applies, but just for fun, let's
take it down to magnitude 1.  We would expect 10,000
times more magnitude 1 earthquakes than magnitude
five earthquakes following our rule of thumb; this
would give 16,560,000 earthquakes larger than
magnitude 1 each year.  Yikes!"

It would be easy to scoff at the matter of earthquakes until you read the recent news headlines:

• The Iranian Earthquakes of 1990 (50,000 deaths) and 2003 (31,000 deaths)
• The Sumatra Tsunami of 2004 (285,000 deaths!)
  due to a massive earthquake at sea.
• The Pakistan Earthquake of 2005 (nearly 81,000 deaths!)
  
• The Peru Earthquake (just last week killed 650 people)

Earthquakes matter, people!

My understanding of Christ's words here is that not only would there be an increase in earthquakes but also that many earthquakes would suddenly occur in places not historically known for having them which will cause major devastation and loss of life.

For instance, scientists have speculated as recently as last week about the next "Big One" destined to hit Southern California. They base their prediction on their seismic readings which seem to indicate that tectonic plates along the San Andreas Fault are under tremendous stress and pressure. When those plates reach the "Tipping Point," a major earthquake will occur. Japan is another place KNOWN for earthquakes and as result, they have spent decades incorporating "earthquake-proof" engineering into the design of their buildings and infrastructure to minimize the effects of the tremors.

However, should massive earthquakes (5.0-plus on the Richter scale) hit places such as the State of Georgia, State of Ohio and Central American countries, their impact would be much more severe because these places ARE NOT KNOWN for having earthquakes of this magnitude. Buildings, bridges and other critical infrastructure in these areas were not built and prepared to withstand earthquakes. It is also said that the aftermath of a tremor is much deadlier than the earthquake itself.

Earthquakes, in and of themselves, are amazing phenomena. Since Jesus indicated that this would be one of the major signs of the end of the age and of His Return, I believe it is well worth our time to understand more about them.

The Parable of the White Chocolate Latte

One of the most poignant scriptures came to me this evening while contemplating whether to head over to Starbucks. My mouth watered as I imagined the barista handing me my Tall White Chocolate latte. As I would sip that creamy goodness, I could see the steam rising from that frothy top.

Oops...sorry! I got a bit carried away. Here's that Scripture that got me here in the first place:

"...For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away."

(James 4:14b, KJV)

My life... Your life... A vapor? Oh my God!!!

The thought of our lives being equated to the lifespan of steam rising from a cup of Starbucks coffee is shockingly sobering.

We all want to believe that we will live on forever but we are only deceiving ourselves. Whether we admit it or not, this is why we procrastinate from doing the things that matter most.

Mr. or Ms, you've only got six months to live...

Often, it is only a sobering report like that from the doctor that jolts us back to reality. The walls around us close in around us. We finally hear the second hand of the clock pounding with absolute certainty that our time is slipping away. It is in those times of isolation and desparation that we seriously consider how we will our remaining time on Earth. You know the questions...

• Should I finally call and apologize to the ones that I have hurt the most?
  
• Should I spend more time with spouse and kids?
• Should I finally marry the person who I put off for so long?
• Should I finally forgive the one that I swore never to do so?
• Should I just take the time to see the robin perched on a nearby tree and listen to her melodious song?
• Should I finally live my life by "The Golden Rule" - "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
• Should I go on the one trip that I've kept putting off?

The cacophony of questions demanding answers would go on and on.

My friend, I am here to remind you of the TWO appointments we MUST all keep - whether we like it or not. Those two appointments are with:

1. Death AND
   
2. God sitting on the Great White Throne (read Revelation 20)
   

...where we will have to answer for the deeds done in this life.

We can't simply call up Death on our cell phones and tell him that we need to reschedule the appointment. Death doesn't make the appointment, God Himself does. Death is responsible for making sure that you keep it.

Someone has said, "Only God can judge me."

I say, "You are absolutely right. buddy! He WILL.

For the Bible says,

"...each person is destined to die once and

after that comes judgment"

(Hebrews 9:27, NLT)

A preacher once said that people who have put their trust in Christ have

• Two (2) Birthdays [the actual date they were physically born. The other birthday is the actual date that they were born again into Kingdom of God] AND

• One (1) death [the day that they physically die. After that death, they will never die again]

A person who HAS NOT put his/her trust in Christ have

• One (1) Birthday and


• Two (2) DEATHs. [The FIRST DEATH is the day you die. And the SECOND DEATH occurs on the day you stand before God at the Great White Throne Judgment to answer for your sins. At that judgment, you will only know of God's Justice. Something Christ never wanted you or I to experience. But you refused God's Love and His Son Christ's offer to be your substitute for the penalty of your sins by applying His Own Blood to atone for all of your sins. The only judgment that God can hand down from His Righteous Throne is "Guilty!" Your sentence is immediately carried out by the guardian angel of God who had been assigned to you on the day you were born.

The Bible says this about the Second Death:

Revelation 21:8“But cowards, unbelievers, the corrupt, murderers, the immoral, those who practice witchcraft, idol worshipers, and all liars—their fate is in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”

3. Friends


4. Neighbors

Permit me to ask you the following questions:

2. Have you made peace with the Holy God who has demonstrated His Love for you by sending His Son Jesus to die on the cross for the payment of your sins and mine?


3. Do you know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that if you were Death's next appointment that you would know where you will spend eternity?


4. Is your final destination - heaven or hell?

We can no longer can we afford to lead selfish, aimless lives. You and I ARE NOT the center of our own existence. We must resist the lies of our society which tells us that there are no absolute truths.

One absolute truth that I can convey to you spoken by this very cup of Starbucks Coffee: Those thin, silvery lines of steam vapors coming off my latte have already vanished!

Think about this truth the next time you are savoring your favorite hot beverage!

Oh wait, I've been daydreaming!!!

Lord willing, I'll pick up that latte on the way to church tomorrow morning.

Your Daily Sign of His Return: "Wars & Threats of Wars"

The second sign that Jesus Christ gave His disciples and to the world about the end of the age and of His Return:

"And you will hear of wars and threats of wars, but don't panic.
Yes, these things must take place, but the end won't follow immediately."
(Matthew 24:6, NLT)

In A.D. 33, when Jesus gave this discourse, it is interesting to note that it would have been impossible for the disciples to keep up the "wars and rumors of war" because the technology and advanced communication forms simply did not exist.

Daniel, the Old Testament prophets held in captivity by the Babylonians, predicted in roughly 560 B.C. that "Knowledge shall increase (Daniel 12:4)." Never truer words spoken. In the 20th century alone, technology took a quantum leap. My grandmother who was born in 1905 and lived to be 99.5 years old (died in May 2005) witnessed the transformation of the world through these achievements/increased wars of mankind.

"Whoa Nelly!!!" Wicked Wiki "Hacks" by CIA & FBI

Wikipedia has become the stalwart Internet Encyclopedia of the world - a public trust to the world. User generated content provided an ever growing repository of information that has been cited many times in print, web and network media.

However, Wiki has discovered that the FBI and CIA are the center of a massive disinformation campaign in which they are hacking Wiki entries of actual people, places and things pertaining to the Fed's involvement. I don't know about you but this will have a "chilling effect" on users who have come to rely on Wikipedia

This reminds me of a scene from George Lucas' Star Wars, Episode III: The Revenge of the Sith. Obiwan Kenobi, the Jedi Knight was seeking to uncover the plot to overthrow the Republic. Kenobi had been told of a certain planet in a certain star system from a reliable source. However, when he went to search out this planet at the Republic Archives computers (like our Library of Congress), the planet could not be found.

So Kenobi seeks out the cyber-librarian. He tells her of his dilemma, the facts about what he understood around the star system and where Rogue Planet should be.

The Cyber-Librarian looked at Kenobi and starkly said, "If it's not in the Jedi Archives, IT DOES NOT EXIST."

We, the moviegoers, find out in the end that it was Senator Palpatine (the Dark Lord of the Sith) having the archives erased to cover his tracks so the Council of the Jedi could not learn of his insidious plot to establish the Evil Galactic Empire with himself as absolute ruler.

And Ladies and Gentlemen... herein lies the rub: Massive Deception through a targeted disinformation campaign.

So, whatever you do, check your facts throughly and throw a double dash of salt over your shoulders when you read anything on Wikipedia's site.

"The Vicar of Christ" and "Mystery Babylon": Review of Dave Hunt's book, "A Woman Rides the Beast"

I am currently reading Dave Hunt's book "A Woman Rides the Beast" and just learned that one of the Pope's title is "Vicar of Christ." According to Hunt, the 'vicar' is translated in the original Greek and Latin means "another", "other" or "anti." Draw your own conclusions but here were some of the word combinations that I came up with.

• "Another of Christ",
• "another Christ,"
• "other Christ"
• or worst yet, "anti-Christ"

If that is indeed the case (and surely the current and previous Popes is/were fluent in many languages with Latin and Greek as primary), why would he wear this title stitched into one of his official garments? Does he really believe that he is "another Christ" in a long line of "other Christs" (past Popes who also claimed this title). Can you imagine the implications this may hold for a future Pope in the near future?

Pope Benedict XVI recently stated that "the Roman Catholic Church is the only true Church" for salvation. Who is he kidding????

What role do you think will the Roman Catholic Church play in the New World Order and the fulfillment of End Time Prophecies?

Dave Hunt postulates that the "Woman" of his book to be the Roman Catholic Church, "Mystery Babylon," (the World Religion that antichrist himself uses to seduce the nations)! Whereas the true believers in Christ (past and present) are considered to be the "Bride of Christ", the Roman Catholic Church crowns as its symbol of worship "Mary the Queen of Heaven and the child Jesus." (a title for the "Mary" of the Roman Catholic Church. A title that the real mother of Jesus NEVER CLAIMED).

Hunt writes about the Apostle John's vision when the Angel of the Lord reveals the true title of the infamous "Queen of Heaven." It is "The Mother of Prostitutes" - a church who lays aside her purity in exchange for power and influence with all of the religions and political leaders of the world in her ultimate quest of world domination. The following passages from the Bible (Holy Bible. New Living Translation copyright © 1996, 2004 by Tyndale Charitable Trust., Revelation 17:3-6), forms the basis of Hunt's book

3 So the angel took me in the Spirit^[a] into the wilderness. There I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that had seven heads and ten horns, and blasphemies against God were written all over it.

4 The woman wore purple and scarlet clothing and beautiful jewelry made of gold and precious gems and pearls. In her hand she held a gold goblet full of obscenities and the impurities of her immorality.

5 A mysterious name was written on her forehead: “Babylon the Great, Mother of All Prostitutes and Obscenities in the World.”

6 I could see that she was drunk—drunk with the blood of God’s holy people who were witnesses for Jesus. I stared at her in complete amazement.

Unless you live under a rock, you know the history and media are littered with stories of people claiming to be "Jesus Christ." All of the stories end badly:
- Families split apart (Husbands from wives and children)
- Individuals isolated from extended family and friends at some secluded place
- Compulsive, ritualistic forms of worship
- Sexual abuse of the women and children
- False Christs' control of all individual's assets (e.g. money, real estate, and other valuables)
- Rampant Manipulation
- Threat of isolation or death or BOTH if person questions the false messiah's authority or speaks out against the false messiah(s)
- and other vile, evil acts perpetuated by these self-proclaimed messiahs."

Peru Rocked by Major 8.9 Quake, Kills 100s, Injures 1300+, Displaces 1,000s

Like many of you, I awaken to hear the terrifying news of Peru. This South American country is reeling from a massive earthquake that just struck.

Yesterday, we noticed major earthquake activity in the Alaskan pennisula and along the San Andreas in California but no activity in South America.

Over 2000 years ago, Jesus gave his disciples "The Signs of the End of the Age." Interesting to note, he told them that one of the major signs will be "earthquakes in divers places" which is the reason why we track earthquake activity here on ETIR.

Lastly, please pray for the people of Peru.

"Oh my, Big Brother!! What Big, Spying Eyes You Have?"

In the name of 'Security', America's spy agencies are ramping up its efforts to do more spying on US citizens - using their "Super Peepers" by directing those spy satellites hovering miles in the skies above to zoom in on us!!!

Combine this latest move with the Patriot Act, warrantless wiretaps, "no knock" search warrants and the ability to label anyone a "Person of Interest" - what you have are the trappings of a wider net being cast over the lives of regular folks like you and me.

The current approach to spying on ordinary Americans just does not seem to make sense: Should we restrict the civil liberties of many Americans just to catch a few rogue terrorists especially when these agencies have already built elaborate profiles (jackets) on these 'persons of interest?'

Will these agencies use these spy satellites to do a better job of securing our ports and border crossings?

One can only wonder what our country will be like in the next 20 years. China Launches Largest Surveillance and Tracking Initiative - EVER

China, working along with IBM and some of the largest tech firms in the U.S., has launched the most aggressive surveillance and identification initiative to track its people using AI (artificial intelligence) software, high-powered cameras and National ID cards. The initial pilot will target 12.4 million of its citizens. The new National ID cards will contain RFID chips to record everything about its citizens - down to each citizen's reproductive history to enforce its "One Child" policy. The Communist nation has also enacted new policies cracking down on its citizens found without a National ID card.

(Author's Note: We believe the next evolution of their surveillance and identification program will be mandatory RFID chip implantation of its citizens.)

What most people don't know is that Adolf Hitler hired IBM during World War II to build the People Tracking Program which was used to inventory the Jews and their property before Nazis transported them to concentration camps. According to the book "IBM and the Holocaust", IBM was NEVER sanctioned for the part in supplying Hitler with technology that became the centerpiece of his death machine. EXCLUSIVE REPORT: "You'll turn into a Jackass!": Rethinking the story of Pinocchio (Part 1)

As I awoke this morning, the childhood story of Disney's Pinocchio came to mind. The wise Jiminy the Talking Cricket pleaded with Pinocchio the wooden boy to turn from his rebellious ways. Jiminy the Cricket warned him of the consequences: "Change your ways or You'll turn into a jackass (donkey)."

But Pinocchio wouldn't listen. He ran away with his best friend Lampwick to Funland. Funland was an amusement park built by the Wicked Wagon Maker (WWM) to lure rebellious boys who would inevitably transform into jackasses and further the WWM's sinister goals. There, Pinocchio played with reckless abandon much like the old Frank Sinatra song, "I did it MY way."

At the height of his pleasure, Pinocchio and Lampwick turned into jackasses and wound up in the cruel hands of the WWM. This evil man rounded up Pinocchio, Lampwick and all the other rebellious boys-turned jackasses, took them to the circus, made them perform tricks, beat and starved them.

When the jackasses became lame and were no longer useful to the circus, the WWM promptly sold Pinocchio and the rest of the herd to a tanner (dealer of animal hides). The tanner immediately drove to herd into the water where he sought to drown them. Pinocchio barely managed to escape this cruel, violent fate-only to find himself in mortal danger yet again.

The Bible indicts all of mankind in the New Testament book of Romans 3:10-17:

As the Scriptures say, "No one is righteous—not even one.
No one is truly wise; no one is seeking God.
All have turned away; all have become useless.
No one does good, not a single one."
"Their talk is foul, like the stench from an open grave. Their tongues are filled with lies." "Snake venom drips from their lips."

"They rush to commit murder.
Destruction and misery always follow them.
They don't know where to find peace."
They have no fear of God at all."

...in short, 'a Jackass.'

Because of the first Adam and Eve's treason in the Garden of Eden (see Genesis 3), all of us would be born sinners and slaves -- a steady, controlled supply of 'jackasses' for exclusive use of the Wicked Wagon Maker (the devil himself) and our ultimate destruction:

Psa 51:5 For I was born a sinner—yes, from the moment my mother conceived me.

Adam Smith (see Wikipedia entry here), author of the book "The Wealth of Nations" spoke of the "Invisible Hand" at work in the marketplace- demand and supply. Others would assume that "Invisible Hand" is the hand of God (Providence) or a group of power financiers. But the Bible clearly says that it is satan (the devil) who is the 'god of this present world.' (2 Corinthians 4:4: read the entire passage here on Bible Gateway.com ). He is the Wizard of Oz (the world) who bades us, "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain."

Like the Wicked Wagon Maker of Funland, Satan's ultimate scheme is to seduce and deceive the people and leaders of every nation into becoming a united world of 'jackasses' which he will lead into an all-out rebellion against the True God of the Universe and His Son, Jesus Christ.

How is satan implementing his plan? By lying to us. It is not a full-frontal assault of our senses. It is a subtle, yet orchestrated "web of lies" which seem so logically and truthful that if it were possible satan would deceive the very ones who genuinely love Jesus. Jesus demonstrated Himself to be the only sinless Son of God's love through His selfless life, ministry, death and resurrection.

• "And one last thing, there is no such thing as the devil and hell. All good-hearted people go to heaven."

Satan's Funland keeps mankind distracted by the things we worship the most:

• The praises of those we seek approval
• Our "fine living" (however you may define 'fine living' in terms of the 'Adult Report Card" Bank Accounts, clothes, cars and houses
  
• Our blazen "In your face" lifestyles and lack of common courtesy
  
• Our wealth and position in life
• Our stuff (Author's note: It's ok for us to have stuff as long as stuff doesn't have us.)
• Our poverty and hopelessness
• Our over-indulgences (tv, drunken parties, sexual indiscretions and fantasies, violence, drugs and alcohol)
• Our self-centeredness
• Our pursuit of pleasure
• Our intelligence and sensibility
• Our fundamental belief of the goodness of man's heart.
• Our religious pride ("be seen going to church but remember, religion is a private thing.") or worst yet,
• Our political and religious affiliation makes us right with God. Remember G.O.P. does mean "God's Own Party"

Satan encourages mankind to revel in its "jackass" ways and do the following to handle those who dare to speak to us about the truth, sin or Jesus':

• "Kick, Scream and Rail against anyone who tells you that you're a sinner in need of a Savior. After all, this 'Jesus' that they speak about was just cooked up by someone's imagination to hold back mankind."
• "There is no right and wrong."
  
• "There are no absolutes."
• We live for the present. After all, 'life's a b#**!!! and then we die.'"

China threatens U.S. with 'Economic' Nuclear Option

A new, shocking report on the U.K.'s Telegraph reveals that China hints that it could destablize the U.S. economy by dumping its massive trove $1 Trillion dollars onto the world currency market in favor of another currency such as the Euro because China does not like Congress pressuring it to revalue its currency.

In layman terms, if China dumps the US dollars and calls the $900 Billion debt we owe them, our economy would crash. A recession - a really long and prolonged one. Indonesia went from being a vibrant society to chaos overnight as fund managers from the world's largest financial institutions decided to move all of the investment money out of that country.

In the case of China doing that to the US, it would easier said than done because US remains the world's largest consumer economy. Nonetheless, it only emphasizes the fact that China has too much control over our economy.

"INVALID LOYALTY"

Last week, I decided to take advantage of the lower gas prices at Kroger's gas station. I think it was like $0.10 to $0.15 cents cheaper than the regular pump price at the time. I picked up the pump and tried to start pumping when the terminal voice recognition software kicked in:
"Are You a Kroger Plus Member?'

The terminal at the gas pump allows you to use one of three ways to allow it to recognize that you are a Kroger Plus Member:

1. Insert the card into the card slot
2. Scan the Kroger card's barcode under the red barcode reader OR
3. Entering your 10-digit home telephone number

I didn't have my Kroger Plus card handy; so I opted for #3. I must have fat fingered a digit before I pressed the ENTER key because I received a weird error message:

"INVALID LOYALTY"

I'm sure other folks would have just re-keyed their information. But me, being the IT guy wondered why couldn't have Kroger chosen a better error message like:

• "Error - Please re-enter." OR
• "PHONE # NOT FOUND. SEE CLERK."

But "INVALID LOYALTY?!!!!"

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I did re-key my phone number and it was accepted.

As I drove off, having a machine call my loyalty into question was something that continued to irk me:

"INVALID LOYALTY"

The more that I thought about it, the more questions that began to surface:

"Loyalty to what?"

"Was it really worth giving up more of my privacy for
a couple of cents in cheaper gasoline?"

"Why should I even care?"

Well, here's why we should ALL care:

With every trip to a store of any kind (e.g. supermarkets, pay per view movies, video rental stores, bookstores and libraries, etc.), we are blindly sliding and swiping away our privacy to large corporations. To large corporations, our buying habits become their "business intelligence" - TERABYTES of data stored on the next generation IBM mainframes inside of monstrous Oracle databases. Smart IT analysts run queries on that data, slicing, dicing and cubing it into thousands of reports and further analyzed. That data are our "life" habits.

Those life habits are sold to other companies, being analyzed at government agencies and insurance companies which will decide whether we should be placed on a Person of Interest list or be deemed worthy of coverage because Little Joey always begs mom to buy Oreo Cookies and Fruit Roll-ups on a weekly trips to the grocery store.

One day, every person on the face of the planet will have their loyalty questioned and validated on a daily basis. Without that loyalty in the "New World Order" that is emerging from under the ground beneath us, the Word of God tells us:

Rev 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

Rev 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

In other words, in the near future, all persons not accepting the mark [of loyalty] of the future President (antichrist) of the coming World Unity Government will be deemed to have...

"INVALID LOYALTY"

The word 'invalid' can mean "null, does not legally exist or false,"
Answers.com define the word 'loyalty' as "Faithfulness or devotion to a person, a cause, obligations, or duties."

So, in essence, 'false allegiance' to the ideals of Global Society. The penalty of that in the emerging the New World Order (European Union and North American Union and supra-regional states) will be that believers would no longer have access to food, clothing, shelter etc and branded as 'outcasts'.

Apparently, God put more in a drop of sweat and a finger print than we could have ever imagined. Until now...

Scientists taut new discovery which allows investigators and researchers to analyze the eating and sex habits of humans simply by a single fingerprint and a drop of sweat.

Who knew our sweat and fingerprints could be that telling? It brings to mind King David's
Psalm 139:13-17.

Blurring the Line Between What's Human and What's Not

"Man and Beast: The Slippery Slope of Human-Animal Hybrids" by William Saletan - Today's article at Salon.com speaks of the "slippery slope" that Britain is now facing pertaining to scientists blending human and animal DNA.

Their conundrum seems to be determining what constitutes something as "human." For instance if you combine DNA from an egg from a cow and DNA from a human which results in a "life" of some sort, would the lifeform be human or animal?

You can be sure other governments are facing this problem as legislation lags behind the rapid advances of scientific research. It would seem as if ethics "be damned" to advance the cause of science. The lure of big dollars, fear of being left behind of their colleagues around world and perhaps the subtle lies of the Great Serpent being whispered into their ears from the pits of hell drive them (see the Book of Genesis, Chapter 3):

Gen 3:4 "You won't die!" the serpent replied to the woman.
Gen 3:5 "God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God, knowing both good and evil."

(Author's note: I am not against the inherent benefits in science, scientific discovery and medical research. I am against the abuse of science as it pertains to seeking to create new animal-human species.)

The planners of the EU have worked for over 80 years to bring together the United States of Europe and now turn their attention to the United States of the World:

• The Maastricht Treaty which started in 1919 with culminated into the First Pan-European Congress in 1926 under the premise that nationalism of individual nations is a horrible construct of governing.
• The European Common Union
• The European Union
• The Euro
• The establishment of EU office in every country
  

Having solidified the governing and monetary construct, the EU have established offices in every country, advocating the creation of new government that resemble itself. One that is neither democratic or free. The problem is that the EU citizens will not even know the freedom is gone until the EU bears its fangs.

A member state that joins the EU cannot leave it because the EU trumps all national sovereignty of its member states.

Interesting to note: The Constitution of the EU have none of civil liberties provided to us as citizens of the US. The BBC reports on EU constitution and why the UK has not officially joined. The EU believes that the whole world is looking for such a man and are ripe to the message of becoming a unified world under one ruler. So the intellectuals, guided by satan's power of Seduction and Deception goes after the rulers of the nations along with trunks of cash and promises of future governing power:

1. "We need security."
2. "We need to band together, expand trade and secure our geographical borders."
3. "We need a Single Global Currency to stop the destabilization of the world markets."
4. "We need a Single ID that will allow us to control our borders and keep out the undesirables."
5. "Existing parliaments and legislative bodies are mired in corruption.
6. "We need a new common set of values. Which institution has an established locations, 'patterns of benevolence' that can share the values of the world unity government around the world? Who has shown an ability to work with Jews, Christians, Islams and other faiths of the world fairly well?" (Answer - one of the world's oldest cities that geographically sits on seven hills)?

The African Union, albeit a wobbly one, is on the rise with now the North American Union consisting of the US, Canada and Mexico being constituted as we speak. Yes, our past and current president have been silently handing over our nation's sovereignty to the "Council for Foreign Relations (CFR)." The CFR (www.cfr.org) soon to be "North American Union" is made of Canadian, Mexican and US members. Some of them have held cabinet posts in their respective countries.

Presidents of each country, including our own, have appointed these members (without any Congressional oversight) to start to exchanging information that will be vital in creating the North American Union. Yes, all the leaders of the world are pawns.

So by 2015, the following will have taken place:

• The introduction of the Amero - a single currency similar to the Euro - that will be accepted and preferred over the USD, Canadian Dollar and the Mexican Peso.
• The establishment of the official NAU borders.
• The creation / prototype of the new North American Union passport with an embedded RFID chip.
• Free movement of NAU member states (Canada, Mexico and the US) across each other's borders.
  
  Interesting to note: According to EU law, any citizen of one member state can live in another member state. So it seems to be that President G.W. Bush approach to border security is the EU solution - no nationalized borders!!!!
  

Until eventually, there will be 10 or more Unions:

1. The European Union (EU)

4. The Pacific States Union (Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, etc.)
5. The Middle East Union
6. The Asian Union

10. The Soviet Union (although this will be a very fragile relationship with the antichrist's government. So much in so that the Soviet Union will attack the antichrist and Israel.

And in fulfillment of the Holy Scriptures, these Unions adopt a resolution that will sign over their "united" sovereignties to One World President who will be the antichrist.

Rev 17:12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

Rev 17:13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.

He (the antichrist), in turn, as his first official act, will deem these rulers as "kings." With himself taking on the title of 'king of kings and lord of lords" (that title only reserved Jesus the Christ as indicated in Revelation 19;16)

Why did I bring this up now?
I read two articles last week that really disturbed me. The first talked about the deadly toxin levels in the Great Lakes in the US where it is killing off massive numbers of fish.

The Second: I'm what they call in Japanese "a sushi monsta" because I love sushi. However, I nearly fell over when I read the following New York Times headline:

"Is that horse in your sushi?


After reading these articles and recall the words that the Lord impressed upon my heart in '92, I began to search the scriptures:

Rev 8:8 Then the second angel blew his trumpet, and a great mountain of fire was thrown into the sea. One-third of the water in the sea became blood,

Rev 8:9 one-third of all things living in the sea died, and one-third of all the ships on the sea were destroyed.

Rev 8:10 Then the third angel blew his trumpet, and a great star fell from the sky, burning like a torch. It fell on one-third of the rivers and on the springs of water.

Rev 8:11 The name of the star was Wormwood (Bitterness). It made one-third of the water bitter, and many people died from drinking the bitter water.

John, who wrote these things could very well be describing a volcano ("a mountain of fire" in verse 8) and a meteorite in verses 10 and 11 :
"a great star fell from the sky" (I would assume that this object came from space.)
"...burning like a torch"
