
For the first time, the US State Department have released the controversial specs of the Electronic Passport. All new U.S. Passports contain embedded radio-frequency identification (RFID) chips. Privacy advocates, civil rights watchdogs and major firms are concerned with the overall security of the new passports from being cloned or hacked.
If you carry the American Express Blue Card or a new Visa payWave card that looks like the image below, you are already carrying RFID spychips.
